- Type “selkokieli” into the search box on the website of a bookstore or library. Browse the results. Look at the covers and titles of the books. Select a book with an interesting cover.
- Select a book and read its blurb. Try to work out the theme of the book. You do not need to understand the whole text. Read the blurbs of at least five (5) books.

Select a book and read its blurb. Visit a library to find the book that you chose. Read 2–3 pages. Do you understand the what the book is about? Is the beginning of the book interesting? Borrow the book or look for a different one.
